Es Grau hide
Getting there:
Turn off the Mahón - Fornells road towards Es Grau (the turning is about 1km from Mahon). Before you get to Es Grau you will see the "S'Albufera Parc Natural" turning on the left (the same turning as for "Shangri.la"). Keep on the main track until the end where there is a small parking area and information sign.
About the spot:

There are 2 prepared routes from the parking area with views over the wetlands. The routes are easy and not very long and provide a number of hides and observation points to make use of. We are no experts but managed to see 'quite a few' different species on our walk, including Great Crested Grebes, Cormorants and Herons. Experienced and better equipped birdwatchers would no doubt identify dozens more species. The hides allow you to see the birds quite close up and there are information boards which explain the species you might see.

Also consider checking the area behind the Es Grau beach itself, which is another good birdwatching area.

Watch out for!:

Definitely worth taking your binoculars, a bird book, and maybe a camera.
