Getting there: 
Turn left off the main Mercadel-Fornells road at the Mahón crossroads. After about 3km you will see Cala Tirant beach signposted on the right. You can easily stop anywhere along the track.
About the spot: 

There is a lot of water around this area outside summer, and closer to the beach dunes. It is a good spot for birdwatching from, particularly early morning (late in the day you look towards the sun). The habitat types are varied around here so expect to see a good range of birds. A bit of exploring might be rewarded and further up the track there is good coastal walking on the Camí de Cavalls.

Watch out for!: 

Binoculars very useful as you'll usually be viewing from a distance.
