Getting there: 
Turn off the main road at Alaior and follow the signs to Son Bou, about 6km south. The big beach carpark is easy to find and is free.
About the spot: 

Together with Cala Tirant the major kitespot on the island. Son Bou offers masses of space (which is lucky because it gets busy in the summer), crystal clear water and white sand. It is a great spot in a westerly and can also be good in SW and NW, although it does get a bit gusty in this direction. Onshore winds can be sailed too but the waves tend to be very close together.

Watch out for!: 

Also a popular beach with windsurfers although there is plenty of room for everyone.
